In 2016 The Royal Mint sparked a collecting phenomenon with the introduction of the Beatrix Potter 50p series. Issued to celebrate 250 years since the birth of the renowned Children’s author, Beatrix Potter, these 50p coins have been unprecedented in their popularity. The tale continues with the 2019 Peter Rabbit 50p coin, which is the fourth coin to feature the much-loved Children’s character. Struck by The Royal Mint, the coin features an original illustration of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter that has been engraved by Royal Mint coin designer, Emma Noble. This coin was followed by another Peter Rabbit 50p in 2020.
This coin is new and in Superior Brilliant Uncirculated condition (BUNC). BUNC coins are minted to a higher standard than coins made for circulation.
